Welcome back to BFF Vegan! Before we begin I wanted to give a quick breakdown of what you can expect from the site now that I’m free from education – yeah that happened, you’re looking at a first class law graduate! From here on out I shall be posting here weekly. Some posts will be a look at vegan food, with weekly meal plan suggestions and a homage to the best in vegan food. You will also find our v love weekly meet up, which I will explain further in this post. Finally, extra posts will alternate between reviews, educational posts, and all round activism. So, without further ado, let’s get down to today’s business!
In short, the aim of this new series will be to offer encouragement and motivation to vegans everywhere and at any stage in their own vegan adventure. In each weekly post l will also cover any exciting news in the vegan world, so keep your eyes open and ready for that, and if you see anything that I’ve missed I’d love to hear it in the weeks to come!
In this world being different can be difficult, and so often people are quick to judge and brand those who struggle to hold on as weak or unworthy. I don’t see it that way. In my eyes, everyone deserves the chance to be their best self, to be loved, and to flourish. There are people who will put you down for being vegan, some just won’t understand. I want to make v love a reminder and motivator for you and your veganism. We’re all in this together, but we all have our individual stories and journeys. I hope that through these posts I can help you stick with it, provide you a respite, information, and maybe a laugh here and there. Most of all I want to build a community that can support one another with all of the above, offer a helping hand when it feels like there is no one in the world who understands.
This might not reach many people, but even if one person happens upon these posts and holds onto veganism, their compassion for the animals the planet and their health, I have achieved my goal for this blog.
Thanks for stopping by today, future posts will be longer, which hopefully is a good thing! As always, if you have any comments or questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
With love from your BFF Vegan.
